He Lives!

Happy Easter!

I hope you are all enjoying a sunny day with your family. Easter is a special holiday, where we celebrate the resurrection of the greatest Man that ever lived.

As a mormon we are often asked why we don't have crosses in our churches or why we don't wear them. Our answer is simple. We celebrate the resurrection of Christ, focusing on his life rather than his death. Through his death we are able to be resurrected again. We are able to LIVE again...to be with our families...to BE! I know my Savior lives. I know he knows me. I know he has a roll in my life and that of my family's. I know that by living right I can return to be with Him because of His sacrifice. How thankful I am for this knowledge. How thankful I am for Jesus Christ and the example of Him, my older Brother. 

This Easter Sunday, among all the celebration of spring and new life may you celebrate the one who gave His life. The one who lives even still. And the one who loves each of us inspite of ourselves.
