"No, I'm not dancing, I'm trying to walk!" Those first steps are always hazardous. It's a good thing dad and my brothers are around to catch me when I start to tumble.......
April 9, Matthew has been trying to take those first few steps and getting better each time.
Now he really thinks he is hot stuff by walking around the house. He will walk up to me an laugh his adorable laugh. He has also learned to go down the stairs so no place in the house is safe. While big brothers have to learn to keep there doors closed if they want Matthew to stay out of their legos, mom is just happy to not fret over the stairs and falling down them.
In addition to all of this, Matthew loves to jabber. Anything at all, jabber, jabber, jabber. He walks around the house and says momm, momm, momma. I just love it! The boys swear he says 'guys' too. Oh, and don't let dinner be late he will DEFIANTLY let me know about that, although it seems to be more fussing and crankiness than actually baby jabbers. Typical boy, talks with his belly full!

PCCN
Life finally gets to move on now that I have finished my PCCN test. This is a national nursing test for Progressive Critical "Care Nursing. Yeah, the test was a mouthful too. I am doubtful that I passed but in the process of studying I learned a lot. For the last 3 weeks every unessential thing was but on hold until the test and studying was done. My house is slowly getting back to some semblance of order. My to do list is out of this world and once again I am reminded that I need to learn to say no. I still have many projects going on, teaching, volunteering, serving, etc. Tomarrow I need to get the gifts for a preceptor retreat made. The retreat is for leadership nurses on our Cardiac Care team and I am making vinyl lettering sign. Then I have to prep decorations for the retreat and lastly make a sweet treat to go along with the gift. Did someone say "laundry"? Yeah, that will have to come at some point. Isn't this how life is though. One project down and another knocking at the door? All the while my little boys are growing WAY too fast.
